Dale Joseph Farley was the son of Frank and Mary (Lass) Farley. He was educated in schools in the area of Beresford, SD. He married Marge Buthala. On February 22, 1945, Dale entered the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Philippines during the second World War. He was a member of the American Legion, was a past commander of the V.F.W., a member of the Forresters, and had served in church offices. Dale died from cancer. He was survived by his wife and children, his mother, two brothers, and four sisters. His father and one brother, Gerald, preceded him in death. Dale was buried at St. John Cemetery in Union County, South Dakota.
