Dorothy Dzedzie, 75, of Larks Lake, passed away Oct. 29, 2007, at Bortz Health Care of Petoskey.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cross Village. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Cross Village.
The family was served by the Schiller Funeral Home of Harbor Springs.

Dorothy Dzedzie, 75, of Larks Lake, passed away Oct. 29, 2007, at Bortz Health Care of Petoskey.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cross Village. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Cross Village.
Dorothy was born March 1, 1932, in Readmond Township, to Frank and Anna (Swiss) Schultz. She grew up in Larks Lake, where she attended school before attending Harbor Springs High School where she graduated in 1950.
On May 28, 1955, she married Joseph Dzedzie in Cross Village and the couple made their home in Petoskey. She Had worked as a cook in the Petoskey public schools for many years.
Following her husband's death in 1992, she returned to Larks Lake. Dorothy enjoyed riding her four wheeler and working in her garden and yard. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Ladies Guild.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Joseph and his wife, Connie, of Pellston, and Michael of Pellston; and three grandchildren, Derrick, Katelyn and Joshua; and also her brothers, Joseph Schultz of Iowa and Michael Schultz of Detroit. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Judy, in 1958.
The family was served by the Schiller Funeral Home of Harbor Springs.
