Petoskey News-Review, Monday April 22, 1968
Services for Edward Marszalec, 19, of Lark’s Lake, who died Friday in an auto crash in Arlington, Va., will be from St. Nicholas Church, Lark’s Lake Wednesday at 10 a.m. Rev. Father Flavius Czuba, O.F.M. will celebrate the Requiem Mass and burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
He was born May 21, 1948 and graduated from the Pellston High School in 1966. He was a member of the Pellston High track team. He graduated from the Bassett Tech Automotive Mechanic’s School, in Alpena and was attending the General Motors School, in Arlington, Va.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Marszalec, of Lark’s Lake, a sister, Leocadia, of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Richard, of Chicago, Walter, of Blue Island, Ill.; a step-brother, Frank Wilson, of Chicago and a step-sister, Mrs. Mary Huss, of Chicago.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, where friends may call.
