Helen E. Ulrich, 89, of Petoskey, died Oct. 17, 1994, at the Emmet County Medical Care Facility in Harbor Springs.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Petoskey.
The Rev. Frank Kordek of Holy Childhood Church in Harbor Springs will officiate, and burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Petoskey.
Mrs. Ulrich was born May 2, 1905, in Petoskey, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Kopp) Daniels.
She grew up in Petoskey and attended St, Francis Xavier School.
On April 21, 1926, she married G. Victor Ulrich in Petoskey, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ulrich was a waitress for many years, then a seamstress.
She enjoyed gardening and mushroom and berry picking.
Mrs. Ulrich was a member of St, Francis Xavier Church and Altar Socity.
Survivors include two sons, Edward A. Ulrich of California, and Thomas V. Ulrich of Conway; four daughters, Beatrice V. Wolf and her husband James D. of Petoskey, Lila M. Goodrich of Alanson, Evelyn A. Wolf and her husband, Thomas L., of Las Vegas, Nev., and Velma L. Benson and her husband, Ronald, of Harbor Springs; 41 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Julia Daniels and Ann Cotanche. In addition to her husband, Victor, Mrs. Ulrich was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia M. Stark and Winnifred M. Holden, and by four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Francis Endowment Fund or to the Emmet County Medical Care Facility Special Needs Unit. Envelopes for memorial contributions are available at the Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey, where visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19. A rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
