Hilton Milford, 78

Funeral services for Hilton C. Milford, 78, will be under the auspices of Durand Lodge 344, F. & A. M. at the Stone Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Milford died April 9 at Lockwood-MacDonald Hospital.

He was born Nov. 9. 1898 in East Jordan and attended school in East Jordan and Springvale Township.

Mr. Milford served with the Marines during Worls War I and in 1933 married the former Rachel Potts in Ludington. The couple made their home in Petoskey.

He worked at Michigan Maple Block for several years and was a salesman on the road for several years. He also worked for the Emmet County Road Commission and retired in 1962.

Mr. Milford was a member of the Durand Lodge 344 F. & A. M. in Petoskey; a member of the Disabled American Veterans; the Emmanuel Episcopal Church and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include his widow; one brother, Mark Milford of St. Ignace; a sister, Mrs. Helen Jackson of Harbor Springs; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Stone Funeral Home beginning 7 p.m. today (Monday).
