Ogden Standard Examiner, 30 March 1927:
Private services for Howard Junior Hocking, 13 months-old son of Howard Charles and Marvel Hodson Hocking were being held this afternoon at the residence, 797 Fifteenth street.
The child died at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning of pneumonia following scarlet fever. He was born on February 20 1926, and is survived by his parents, two sisters Margaret Anne and Ethel Alice, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hodson of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hocking of LaSalle, Ills.
Interment was to be made in the Ogden City cemetery under the direction of the Kirkendall mortuary.
