Jacqueline was born in London, England, on September 15, 1934, to Ethel and Charles Mexson. She attended Putney High School and worked as a secretary for the Shell Oil Company. While Karl was serving in the U.S. Air Force, they met and married, eventually making their home in 8 states, and two countries. Jacqueline worked for University of Tampa and was a member of the First Alliance Church of Lakeland. Her children will deeply miss her wry humor, love of words, and continuing mission to be a better mother and admire her strength and courage in facing adversity.

Services will be held at First Alliance Church, 1919 E. Edgewood Avenue, at one p.m. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice Development Department, 105 Arneson Avenue, FL 33824.
