Services Set
Services for Jay A. Gage, 88, 152 Snyder-st., Harbor Springs, who died Sunday at Little Traverse Hospital after a long illness, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Erwin Funeral Parlors. Rev. Leroy Lightfoot will be in charge and burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 24, 1878 in Hesperia and came to Harbor Springs when he was two years old. He was married Sept. 26, 1907 at Traverse City to Blanche Doty.
He worked for the city of Harbor Springs for a number of years and did cottage work on Harbor Point.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Guy G. now sailing on an Atlantic freighter in the Merchant Marine; a brother, Guy of Harbor Springs; a grandson, Jerry recently wounded in Vietnam.
The body is at the Erwin Funeral Parlors where friends may call from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight.
