Karl Catob

Harbor Springs native and former area resident Karl Catob, 88, died July 4, 1997, at Attleboro Center in Langhorne, Pa.

Funeral was held at Woodside Presbyterian Church in Yardley, Pa.

A special graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Lakeview Cemetery, Harbor Springs.

Karl Catob

Harbor Springs native Karl A. Catob, 88, of Newtown, PA., died at Attleboro Center, Langhorne, PA., on July 4, 1997.

Born in Harbor Springs, he attended school here and graduated from Harbor Springs High School in 1926. He served as an inspector for the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1966. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps in the Nicaragua campaign. He was a member of Woodside Presbyterian Church, NARFE, VFW Post 6393, Yardley, and OX 5 Club of Aviation Pioneers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Agnes (Barlass) Catob; daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Paul Loux; sons and daughters-in-law, Karl and Jacqueline, Erik and Karen, Kurt and Carol Catob; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; sister, Gertrude (Catob) Carmer of Harbor Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd at 3 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Harbor Springs.

Contributions may be made to Woodside Presbyterian Church or Levittown, PA. Red Cross Homeless Shelter.
