Her parents are Floyd Leonard Heinz and Alice Marie Malnar.

Marlene married Douglas Johnson on the 29 August 1976 in Marquette, Marquette, Michigan.
They have two sons Normon Floyd Johnson and Thomas Allen Johnson
Marlene died 30 December 1993 in Marquette, Marquette, Michigan. She is buried in the Haglund Family Cemetery, Skandia, Marquette, Michigan.

Marlene A. Johnson, 41 of Eben, died Dec. 20, 1993, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette.
Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 12, 1952, in Ewen. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Heinz, who grew up in Harbor Springs. She was also the daughter and stepdaughter of the late Alice (Malnar) and Gaspard "Cap" Wolfe. She graduated from Ewen High School in 1970.
She married Douglas Johnson on Aug. 29, 1976, and he survives.
Mrs. Johnson was employed at Four Seasons Restaurant in Munising as a baker. She started and organized the Rock River Township First Responders of which she was a member. She was also a First Responder for the Alger County Ambulance Service in the Rock River Township area.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas, and two sons, Norman Floyd and Thomas Allen, all at home; one sister, Mrs. James (Chris) Johnson of Harvey; and several nieces and nephews. Local survivors include two aunts, Inez (Heinz) Wenzel and Carol (Heinz) Taylor, both of Harbor Springs; and cousins Mike and Dave Heinz, both of Harbor Springs, and Sue (Taylor) Reid and Joanne (Heinz) Howse, both of Petoskey.
Funeral arrangements were made at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising.
