Rites Thursday
Services for Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Hartung, 66, who died yesterday at her Harbor Springs home, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Holy Childhood Church. Rev. Elstan Coghill, O.F.M. will officiate and interment will be in Larks Lake Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at the Gillian-Erwin Funeral Chapel at 8 p.m. Friday.
She was born Louise Wintler at Jacksonville, Illinois, December 26, 1904 and married Mr. Hartung there on September 22, 1931. They have lived all their married life in Harbor Springs.
Mrs. Hartung was a member of the Holy Childhood Church and the Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Steffel, of Petoskey; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Vernon Scholfield, of Jacksonville, Illinois.
