Michael Kevin Lyons was born January 10, 1961, son of Edward J. Lyons, Jr. and Judith A. Taylor Lyons.
He has one sister Lori and a brother Chris.
Mike grew up in Petoskey, Michigan and attended schools there, graduating from Petoskey High School as a member of the class of '79.
He lived in Burnsville, Minnesota, and Tempe, Arizona where he was in high-tech communications data design and sales.
Mike married Katie and together they have a daughter, Meghan and a son, Sam.
His interests included,spending time with his kids, fly Fishing, tying flies, music, movies, being outdoors.
Mike passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Tempe, Arizona, where he was on the waiting list for a liver transplant.
Mike will be remembered for his big heart and giving soul. He is missed by many.
