Petoskey News-Review, Monday, February 14, 1983:
Funeral services for Paul A. Daniels ,71, of Charlevoix, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Marys Church in Charlevoix. Fr. R. Dale Magoon will officiate and burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.
Mr. Daniels died Feb. 13 at the Charlevoix Area Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1911, in Petoskey and grew up in the Petoskey area. Until 1950, Mr. Daniels farmed on East Mitchell Road.
Mr. Daniels worked for Petoskey Portland Cement Co. from 1946 to 1954 and then worked at Montgomery Ward’s as a mechanic from 1959 to 1972 when he retired. In 1964, Mr. Daniels moved to Hayes Township.
On June 21, 1967, he married the former Pansy L. Haskell in Petoskey. The couple resided in Hayes Township.
Mr. Daniels was a former member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Petoskey and a member of St. Marys Church in Charlevoix.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Harold A. Daniels of Alanson and Bernard E. Daniels of West Olive; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Kunie) Simon of Petoskey and Mrs. Helen Ulrich of Harbor Springs.
Friends may call at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix from 6 tp 9 p.m. Tuesday. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
