Stella A. Swiss, 83, of Cross Village, died June 29, 1996, at the Emmet County Medical Care Facility in Harbor Springs.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Holy Cross Church in Cross Village. Father Albert Langheim, O.F.M., will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
She was born May 23, 1913, in Readmond Township, the daughter of John and Sophia (Kozlowski) Swiss. She grew up in Cross Village and attended school in Flint.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cross Village.
Survivors include one brother, Louis Swiss and his wife, Wanda, of Cross Village; an several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister at birth and her three brothers, Frank, Walter and Steve Swiss. She was also preceded in death by two other sisters, Anna Shultz and Mary Rouse.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Holy Cross Church. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today, July 1, at Holy Cross Church in Cross Village. A Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the church.
Arrangements were handled by the Schiller Funeral Chapel of Harbor Springs.
