Petoskey News-Review, Monday, January 12, 1976
Funeral services for Stephen Swiss, 66, of Harbor Springs, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Gillian-Erwin Funeral Chapel, Fr. Gerald Dvorak, OFM will officiate and burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight (Monday) at the funeral chapel.
Mr. Swiss died Sunday at Little Traverse Hospital after a short illness.
He was born April 7, 1909 in Readmond township. He worked as a farmer and carpenter and was employed by Rockwell and Bond until 1973 when he retired.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond and Gerry, both of Harbor Springs; four daughters, Carol and Ellen of Harbor Springs, Mrs. Hazel (Leta) Gregory of Traverse City, and Shirley of Lansing; eight grandchildren; one brother, Louis Swiss of Cross Village; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Schultz of Petoskey, Mrs. Marie Rouse of Grand Junction and Stella Swiss of Cross Village.
Friends may call at the Gillian-Erwin Funeral Chapel after noon today.
