Wihelmina Catob was born in 1843 in Reisenberg, West Preussen, Germany. Her maiden name is unknown presently.
Minnie married Frederick L. Chudobba in 1875 at Germany.
They immigrated to the US and bought land outside Harbor Springs, Emmet, Michigan and had what became known as the Catob Farm on Catob Road. Fritz helped build the railway from Petoskey to Mackinac City. They Americanized their last name to Catob so their neighbors could pronounce it.
Minnie died 3 January 1934 in Harbor Springs, Emmet, Michigan and is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Harbor Springs.
