Nina E. Robinson, 91, died Friday, June 11, at the Emmet County Medical Care Facility at Harbor Springs.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 15 at 10:30 a. m. at the Stone Funeral Home with Robert Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The former Nina E. Gokee was born Aug. 25, 1890 in Charlevoix County. She attended area rural schools.
On Dec. 19, 1941 she married Robert C. Robinson in Royal Oak. They lived in Detroit until 1955 when they moved back to the area. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1966.
She remained in Petoskey until 1975 when she moved to the Emmet County Medical Care Facility where she has lived since.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 60 years and the First Christian Church in Petoskey.
Survivors are one son, Leonard C. Lucas of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred L. Moore of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Louise Ball of Petoskey and Lila Holmberg of Harbor Springs; and one brother, Leonard Gokee of Petoskey.
The family suggests anyone wishing to honor the memory of Mrs. Robinson may do so by contributing to the Emmet County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes for this purpose will be available at the funeral home. Visitation hours are tonight (Monday) from 7-9 p.m.
